Where we get something matters. The source determines what it produces, and the same is true in our spiritual lives. In 2 Corinthians 10:4–5, Paul reminds us that “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God.” As believers, we are not limited to the resources, wisdom, and solutions of this world. God has given us access to resources that are sourced in heaven.
Carnality is not simply sinful behavior. It is operating from what is earthly and human—our own reasoning, strength, solutions, and perspective. While those things may seem practical and reasonable, they can never compare with what God is able to provide. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than ours.
God has equipped His people with spiritual weapons that are powerful in Him. We have the authority of Christ, the Word of God, the name of Jesus, the blood of the Lamb, the power of our testimony, the Holy Spirit, praise, and the strength that comes through agreement and community. These are not merely religious ideas; they are resources God has given His people to stand against the things that seek to divide, discourage, and destroy.
The question is not whether God has given us what we need. The question is whether we are willing to use what He has given us. When we rely only on what we can see, understand, or accomplish ourselves, we limit ourselves to earthly resources. But when we learn to draw from heaven, we discover that we are not helpless or powerless in the battles we face.
God has called us to live from a different source—to trust His Word, walk in His authority, and believe that His resources are greater than anything this world can offer.
